"Board" means "to go on to" or "to get into". When you "board" a boat, it means to go on to the boat. You can also "board" a plane, bus, or train. Ex: Can all passengers for the cruise-ship, please board now. Ex: The boarding time for the flight is 17:00. Ex: Be careful when boarding the train. Ex: I'll speak to you later. I have to board the bus now!
