teacher

"Done" is also a past participle form of the verb "to do." It's usually used with "has," "had," or "have" in a sentence. You'll notice that the script says "...until you'd [you had] actually done the work." Of course, you can also use "did" here instead of "had ... done" without changing the meaning of the sentence! Ex: If you had done your homework, you wouldn't have gotten in trouble with your teacher. Ex: I did my homework, so I didn't get in trouble with my teacher.
