If one is "fresh out of something", it means having just finished, or to not have anymore of something. "Fresh", implying that it was a recent occurrence. Ex: We're fresh out of croissants. I sold the last one to the previous customer. Ex: Now that you're fresh out of university, what are you going to do? Ex: I'm fresh out of ideas. => A common saying. Meaning that you have no more ideas for something. Ex: Class, we're fresh out of time. No more questions. => A common saying. Meaning that time has run out.
