"Venture away from" means to bravely get away from or to explore somewhere that's unfamiliar. We also use the expression "venture out." This means bravely explore an unfamiliar area. Ex: We decided to venture away from London to see the beautiful countryside. Ex: Let's venture out and explore the city! Ex: He ventured away from the group to explore on his own. Ex: She really wants to venture out on our trip to Italy.
