"Caution" is not as strong in tone, and means that if the precaution is not taken, it may cause minor or moderate injury. "Warning" is stronger in tone. If the warning is not taking seriously, it can cause death or serious injury. Ex: Caution: water spill ahead. Ex: Warning: falling rocks ahead.
