As a verb, "crowd" is to fill a space so that it's full, making it hard to move around. Ex: The crowd was going wild when we sang our last song! Ex: It's too crowded to leave the concert building. We had to wait until people left. Ex: My dog doesn't like being around crowds. It scares her.
