The difference between "boost" and "enhance" is that "boost" means to give extra energy or power in a short amount of time, whereas "enhance" doesn't have the "quick" effect that a "boost" does. It gives extra energy or power, but it could be slower and makes it better or has a greater effect in the long run. Ex: The rocket boost will increase the rocket speed enough to get into zero gravity. Ex: Apparently, the drug enhances your muscles. But it becomes addictive.
