What's "come apart" mean?

To "come apart" means to fall apart or into piece/parts. Basically, he is saying that the food is breaking apart, into pieces very easily. Ex: Why did this burger come apart? I can't pick it up anymore. Ex: My fan came apart when I dropped it, so I have to get it fixed.
