Kiwi asks…

What does "clean you out" mean?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

"Clean someone out" is a slang phrase that means "use up all of one's money". Therefore, when she says "Is the amount cleanin' you out" she means, "Is the amount of money you're paying using up all of the money you have?" Ex: I cleaned him out by selling him that expensive car.
