The "five eyes nations" refers to the nations which are under a treaty or an agreement for an alliance of intelligence sharing. These nations include Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The treaty was put in place after the Cold War to share security measures against foreign nations which may be potential threats to the governments of these nations.
