Kiwi asks…

How different "prosper" and "success"?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

In this case, "prosper" is a verb and "success" is a noun. Aside from that, there are some differences between these two words. To "prosper" usually means to "succeed" in gaining something of physical value, like money. To "succeed" on the other hand does not always have some form of physical gain. Ex: He has prospered from his career. Ex: They have succeeded in graduating college.
