Kiwi asks…
Like a "buck" for a "dollar," does other currency also has a nickname?
Answer from a Native speaker

Rebecca
It's common for slang words to be used instead of "dollar" as it's in English, but it's rather uncommon for English speakers to use slang terms for foreign currencies, mainly due to being unfamiliarity with these foreign languages. Most likely, there will be similar terms used for these currencies in their own languages and countries! Ex: Can I borrow ten bucks from you? Ex: I just picked up twenty bucks from the ground.
