"Bottom line" means the final or ultimate outcome. In this script, Pumbaa and Timon are lamenting the fact that ultimately, Simba will leave them. Ex. If you wake up late, we will miss our flight. That's the bottom line. Ex. The bottom line is that no one knows when this pandemic will be over.
