I think "back" is used in many different contexts, but I'm not sure how to use "back" in the sentence. Could you give me some examples?

Here "back" references a past time, as if time were going "backward". It gives more context to the sentence! Ex: I was a part of the drama club back in high school. Ex: Back when I had my own restaurant, people came from all over town to try the food. Ex: Back in 1980, I visited the United States.
