Kiwi asks…

If I change "only if" to "in condition of", does it sound awkward?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

"In condition of" is not grammatically correct. A phrase you can use instead of "in condition of" that contains "condition" is "My only condition is that (they just look at my foot)." In general, native English speakers use "only if" more often than a phrase containing the word "condition".
