Kiwi asks…

Is it grammatically wrong or unnatural if I put "apology" instead of "apologizing"?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

You can use "apology" instead of "apologizing" here! Because we are referring to it generally, it needs to be in the plural form. Thus, we can use "I'm great at apologies" instead of "I'm great at apologizing." Ex: I like to go swimming. Ex: I like to go for swims.
