When can I use "in terms of ~"?

"In terms of" means in regards to a particular subject or topic. This expression can be used whenever you want to refer specifically to a certain topic of conversation and make it obvious that you are referring to this topic. Ex: The school is not fancy, but in terms of education it is very good. Ex: In terms of cost, sports cars are very expensive.
