Is it okay to put "build (infinitive)" right after the verb "help"? Could you explain me the grammatical structure of this sentence?

Yes, it is totally fine to place the infinitive "build" right after the verb "help" and say "help to build", or you can drop the "to" and just say "help build". You can place other infinitive verbs after the verb "help" to mean to assist in doing a certain action. Ex: She helped eat the last of the food that was left over. Ex: Do you want to help wash these dishes?
