Good question! A "rainforest" is similar to a "jungle", and can often refer to the same area, however, there are a few differences between them. The main difference is that a rainforest is categorized by having a very high percentage of rainfall, whereas a jungle is just a forest filled with lush vegetation, and is usually tropical. However, a "jungle" can also be a rainforest. A "jungle" just refers a little more generally to a tropical forest with dense vegetation, while a "rainforest refers" more specifically to a forest with lots of rainfall, vegetation, and high treetops. A "rainforest" is also usually a much larger scale area, while a "jungle" can refer to a small area.
