Does the word "care" has the same meaning as "worries"? If so, can I say "care" only in a negative situation?
As a noun, "care" means something that is an object of consideration or concern. Thus, it does indeed have a meaning similar to "worries." "Cares" is a neutral term but does tend to be associated more with negative things. Ex: She felt bogged down by the cares of life and wanted to run away. Ex: My father once told me that the cares of a family man are great.
