Oui, c’est exact. Hard to make outsignifie que quelque chose est difficile à lire, difficile à déchiffrer ou difficile à voir. Exemple : It looked like a plane flying in the sky but it was hard to make out. (Je pensais qu’il y avait un avion dans le ciel, mais je n’en suis pas sûr.) Exemple : The card was signed by someone but I couldn't make out the name. (Quelqu’un a signé la carte, mais je ne sais pas qui)
