What's the difference between "get married to", "married someone", and "be married to"?

In order to answer this question, I am going to separate it into three parts to make it easier to explain. They all are slightly different in meaning. "Get married to" means that you are about to be married to someone. You are going to have a wedding. Ex: Jason and I are going to get married. "Married someone" means that you had a wedding and got married to someone. Ex: She married Jim last summer. "Be married to" means to have a husband or wife.
