The title of "Prime Minister" is usually given to the head of government of a country with a parliamentary system of government, such as the UK or Australia. In some countries (such as Austria and Germany) the title "Chancellor" is used in place of "Prime Minister", but the position and duties are still essentially the same. Ex: He is the head of the government so you have to call him Prime Minister now. = He is the head of the government so you have to call him Chancellor now.
