Karma is the belief that one's actions and intents determine what happens to them in the future. For example, if someone does something bad to someone, and then something bad happens to them in return, some people might call that "karma." Put simply, it is a belief in the cause and effect cycle. There is "good" and "bad" karma. Ex: A: He cheated on me with my friend, and my friend later cheated on him. B: That's karma. Ex: A: The school bully got me in trouble with the teacher. B: Don't worry. He's got karma coming to him. Ex: A: My sister rescues abandoned cats and dogs. B: Wow, I bet she has good karma.
