Just curiosity. Does the word "video" refer to general clips? Because in my country, the video refers to VHS.

They can refer to any video clips found on the Internet, and very rarely refer to VHS tapes, which aren't used commonly anymore. Ex: A: What are you doing? B: Just watching some videos on YouTube. Ex: I'm watching a video of skateboarding tricks.
