“Fear not” sounds like command. Can I also use it like “Eat not” as a command?

'Fear not' does sound like a command! It is a term that is used in speech more often than you might think! I can see where you're getting at, but 'Eat not' isn't used as commonly. If you want to command someone to not eat something, how about saying 'Don't eat it!', or 'Don't you dare touch(lay hands on) the food' instead?
