"Angle" in this video means the point of view or perspective; a particular way to approach an issue. She is telling him that she likes how he wrote the story, but she decided to write the story from a different perspective. Ex: I think we need to look at this from a different angle. Ex: We need to tell this story from a different angle to engage the audience. Ex: We need a different angle to teach her math.
