Doesn't have the stomach ist wie zu sagen, doesn't have the guts . Guts oder einen strong stomach bedeutet, mutig oder voller Mut zu sein. Der Satz doesn't have the stomach oder doesn't have the guts bedeutet, dass jemand doesn't have the guts genug Mut oder Mut hat, etwas zu tun. Beispiel: He doesn't have the stomach to ask her out ; he's too shy. (Er hat nicht den Mut, sie zu befragen. Zu schüchtern.)
