I know the meaning of the word "dare" but don't really know how to use it in a sentence. can you show me some more examples?

To be dared means to be provoked or challenged to do something (which is usually difficult or unusual). For example, a boy's friends might dare him to talk to the girl he likes at school. It's supposed to be an action that is out of the norm for the person. You can use "dare" the same way you would use the verb "challenge" - i.e. pronoun + dare + pronoun + [to verb]. Ex: I dare you to hand in a blank paper during our test today. Ex: I was once dared to go skinny dipping in the lake near my house. I almost got caught by the police.
