Here "though" means "despite the fact" or "however." In the previous sentence, he mentions being interested in the stock market and emphasises that they're not in similar work fields. So 'even though' they're not in similar work fields, he has done a bit of acting too. Ex: I don't like to cook. Though, I do make a great lasagne. Ex: She prefers anime over live-action series. Though, she is a big fan of "Friends."
