You could say, "give a warm welcome to [someone]," "put your hands together for [someone]," or "please join me in welcoming [someone]." These, as well as "please welcome," are usually said to indicate to the audience to applaud the guest so as to "welcome" them. Ex: Give a warm welcome to our guest tonight, Tom Holland. Ex: Put your hands together for Elliot Paige!
