If someone "gets used to" something, it means that it was unfamiliar and strange at first, but they're adapting to it, and it will stop being unusual or strange soon. Ex: I'm getting used to being in a new city after being in the same one for a while. Ex: I got used to the smell of paint in the shared painting studio. Ex: I'll get used to going to bed early soon.
