Deep frying is a little different from frying because it is immersing something completely in a vat of oil, to cook it throughly. Frying is cooking food in a pan that has been drizzled in oil. Deep frying creates a much crispier, oilier texture. For example, fried chicken is deep fried, and stir fried food is fried. Ex: I just deep fried some chicken cutlets. They're super crispy and juicy. Ex: Can you fry up some vegetables for dinner?
