What's the main difference between a "true love" and an ordinary "love?"

"True love" is similar to the concept of soul mates, in which each person has one, perfect romantic partner for them. They are the best match for you, so they are called your "true" (real, authentic) love. "Love" doesn't have that connotation, and doesn't refer to one person specifically. According to this concept, one person might have many loves in their lifetime but only one "true love." Ex: I am getting married to my true love. Ex: I met my true love when I was 20, but he died at a young age.
