Would it sound awkward if I say "get out" instead of "come out" in this context?

Yes, It would sound awkward! The difference is in the position of the person saying "come out". If you're outside the room, you say "come out" to the person inside the room. If you were in the room or space together, you could say "get out!", telling them to leave the room you're in. Ex: Get out of my room, Tim! You're so annoying! Ex: It's time to come out of your room, Anna! We're having dinner now. Ex: Please, get out of my house. Ex: Please come outside and play.
