What's the main difference between a "relationship" and an "interaction?"

A "relationship" is a connection between two people or things. An "interaction" is a situation or scenario where people or things act upon each other - they interact. People can "interact" and not have a "relationship." However, it usually takes several "interactions" to form a "relationship" with someone. Ex: I had such an awkward interaction with the shop assistant earlier. Ex: I don't see my friend much, and I'm worried that will affect our relationship negatively.
