What does "rip-off" mean? Could you give me some examples?

A "rip-off" is an imitated version of something, or a fraud or a fake. Without the hyphen, it's a verb that means to cheat someone or to steal or plagiarize something. Ex: You can get a bunch of brand rip-offs in the underground mall. The Nike tick might just be backwards. Ex: I thought I ordered genuine leather, but it was rip-off plastic leather. Ex: The salesman totally ripped me off.
