Can I say just "get here" instead of "get to here?" Is there a difference between these two?

Yes, you're right. "Get here" is preferable, unless you are specifying an actual place or location. In that case, you would use "get to X." Ex: How did you get here so fast? Did you take a plane?! Ex: Can you tell me how to get to the shopping mall?
