To "grow tired of [something]" means to gradually become tired of it. It has the nuance of becoming bored of or annoyed by something. Ex: I grew tired of Kevin's behavior, so I broke up with him. => annoyed or over it Ex: We'll grow tired of pizza if we eat it every day. => become bored with Ex: Eventually, she grew tired of being told what to do and started her own business.
