Would it change the nuance of the statement if I say "can" or "may" instead of "might"? I thought either "may" or "can" refer to a possibility of something!

In this context, "may" would be a good substitute for "might"! Then instead of "can", you would use the past tense "could" to indicate a possibility or suggestion. "Can" is more of a clear and definite action one can do rather than an unknown possibility. Ex: I can ring the bell for you, sir! Ex: Steve could help us if we asked him. Ex: I might bring some fresh cupcakes over to your house later! Ex: Drinking more coffee may not be good for you.
