What's the difference between "monster" and "freak"?

A "freak" is someone or something that has been deformed or acts irrationally. Although, it is rude to use this term with people! A "monster" is a large frightening, scary creature, usually imagined. Or, It can refer to a cruel person. Ex: He's a monster to his children. Ex: Mom, I'm scared! I think there's a monster under the bed. Ex: That cat looks like a freak. It has no hair.
