"Inside job" means that a crime was committed within an organisation or building by people who worked there. Ex: Did you hear about the burglary? The police think it was an inside job. Ex: Someone on the inside was spreading rumours about the CEO. Ex: Our security is too good for someone to have broken in. It must have been an inside job.
