Do you use "I bet" when you're sure about something? Then "I'm sure", "I guarantee" can be used in this case as well?

Great insight! "I bet" is used to reply to a statement to show that you agree with it or that you expected it to be true, usually when you are annoyed or amused by it. You can use "I'm sure" and "I guarantee" as well but, 'guarantee' sounds formal. "I'm sure" and "I bet" sound informal. Ex: I bet she stayed up late to finish her homework. Ex: She bets he'll give up halfway in the race.
