Why the past tense “got” is used here instead of “get”?

Both are actually grammatically incorrect. The correct sentence would be, "Hey, do you have some time?" "You got time" is considered a slang expression for the correct sentence. Even though "You got time" is considered slang and grammatically incorrect, we still don't use "get" here. I'm unsure why we use "got" instead of "get," but "you got time" is the accepted slang phrase for "do you have time?
