The word "aid" implies a practical and functional form of assisting someone. "Support" means to assist with a heavy load, where one carries some of the heavy workload or emotional weight. "Aid" and "support" can both mean financial assistance. "Help" is to make something easier or more possible for someone - usually when it's not expected from the other person to do so. Ex: My friends are going to help me pack and move houses this weekend. Ex: Several lecturers aided us with our final painting projects. Ex: My friends and I support each other.
