To recycle means to reuse or repurpose trash or waste so that it can be used again or made into new products. For example, if you recycle paper, it can be reused and made into recycled paper or other paper products. Recycling is important because it helps us protect the environment. Single-use plastics and other materials are polluting the earth and causing a lot of destruction to the planet. Ex: I'm going to recycle some cans and plastic bottles. Ex: Nowadays, many kids learn how to recycle in school. It teaches them to take care of the environment.
