The expression "march straight to" sounds a little childish to me, does it actually have that kind of nuance?

"March straight to" is more of an aggressive statement. Saying this shows that you are determined to get your point across no matter what. Ex: I'm going to march into his office and tell him I deserve a raise. Ex: We are going to march into that store and demand a refund.
