To be "wide awake" means to be fully or completely awake. To not feel sleepy at all. But, here, it's used metaphorically! So it means that she's fully aware and perceives the world with clarity, mentally and physically. Ex: I feel like I'm wide awake now. I've realized that I need to change my goals in life. Ex: After having coffee, I feel like I'm wide awake.
