Have you ever seen 'Box Office No. 1' used to promote a movie? In English, the place you go to buy a movie ticket is called a 'box office'. Before you buy your ticket, make sure to check the 'film rating' if you have children watching with you.✔️ Now, we're finally ready to get tickets! 'May I have two seats for NO WAY HOME at 7?' If you have any seat preferences, make sure to say it in advance. 'Two seats in the middle of aisle F, please.'

👀 The Cast Are All Top Actors

Actually, I prefer to watch a movie after I know the cast. And if my favorite actor is the main character, I just go ahead and watch it. The word 'cast' is used to mean the group of actors who make up a film. The word 'casting' also comes from this word! Top actors are often all referred to as 'A-listers'. (For example, actors like Will Smith...) The words 'leading actor' and 'supporting actor' shouldn't need much explanation. They are the protagonist and antagonists of the movie. The South Korean actress Yoon Yeo-jung recently received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Minari (2020).✨

🎞 I Prefer Subtitled to Dubbed

notion image

Which do you prefer, dubbed or subtitled? I prefer to watch subtitled movies so that I can listen to the actor's original voice. It feels more realistic and helps me understand the actor's emotions better. If I have the chance, I also really like to attend the premiere of a new release because I like to watch movies before others and write movie reviews.✍️
