Kiwi asks…

I don't understand the meaning of "you got me" here. Is it the same meaning as "you stole my heart"?

Answer from a Native speaker

teacher

Rebecca

"You got me" in this case means that he has her on his side or she is with him in the relationship. It could be similar to "you stole my heart" but this expression implies more that the person is in love with them. "You got me" just means "you have me" or "I am on your side". Ex: You got me. I am here for you no matter what. Ex: You might not have any friends but you've got me.
